Teneya Lake in Yosemite has always been among my absolute favorite places. In this painting, I’ve focused on the small granite point that juts into the lake from the southwest side.
Teneya Lake is on the Tioga Pass road. I’ve made many visits to hike around the lake (an easy stroll) and on the trail that leads from Teneya lake to Sunrise Lakes (significantly more challenging).
