My painting Coastal Quiet has been selected as part of a statewide salon style 2D art competition and exhibit at the Triton Museum of Art located at Santa Clara University. I very much appreciate that the Triton Museum is hosting the exhibit. My thanks also goes to artist and educator, Cuong Nguyen in his role as the juror of show entries.
The Triton Museum or Art is located at 1505 Warburton Avenue in Santa Clara. Museum hours are Tuesday through Sunday from 11:00 to 4:30.

Four times a year, the California Art Club conducts an Excellence in Traditional Fine Art Competition. I am thrilled that Sarah Gianelli, editor of American Art Collector, chose my piece “Sailing Toward Alcatraz” for inclusion in the online showcase.

After taking a two year pandemic-related break, the Firehouse Art Center is hosting their 11th edition of the “Fresh Works” juried art exhibition. Ashley Voss, Director of Voss Gallery in San Francisco, is the juror for the show and I am so very happy to have my painting “Heading Out” included in the show.
The Harrington Gallery is a beautiful art space inside the Firehouse Arts Center in Downtown Pleasanton at 4444 Railroad Avenue.

Three of my paintings have been selected for inclusion in this juried painting show that will be on view at the Coastside Arts Gallery in Half Moon Bay at 300 Main Street. The gallery is open from 11:00 to 4:00 except on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Many thanks to the show’s curator Kathy Miller and to the jurors Patricia Appel, Ellen Joseph and Greta Waterman.

The show is on view at Curated by the Sea Gallery located at 703 Front Street in Santa Cruz. My painting “On the Boardwalk” has been juried into a show that includes fifty paintings celebrating California. The 50+ pieces that have been featured can be seen on the California Art Club website.

The gallery is located at 300 Main Street in Half Moon Bay. My painting Celadon Morning is included in this year’s show.

I was delighted to receive an award for merit from Juror Terri Ford for my painting “Incoming” as part of this year’s show. My painting “Sea Scouts Aquatic Park” was also included in the show which was held at the Los Gatos Jewish Community Center.

I had such a good time participating in this year’s Humboldt Open Paint Out hosted by the Redwood Art Association and thrilled to receive an award for merit for my painting Celadon Morning.
I have come to appreciate the rural and coastal beauty of Humboldt County by participating in this event. With three painter friends, I rented a house overlooking the Pacific for the week. We painted every possible moment each day and spent the evenings sharing wine, a kitchen table dinner and helpful feedback on that day’s paintings amongst friends.

My painting “Reflected Sycamore” was part of this year’s show hosted by Los Gatos artist Hershel Ableman. Following the initial July show, the paintings on view through the fall at the Los Gatos Coffee Roasting Company.
6/2022 – 7/2022
I am thrilled to have receive an award for my painting “Heading Home” as part of this All Medium Show hosted by the Coastal Art League at their gallery on Main Street in Half Moon Bay.
My painting “Monceau Carousel” purchased while it was hanging as part of the show.
A third painting “Mother’s Day” was also included in the show.
